FAQ

FAQ

Do you sell official merchandise?

Keith Wahl Art offers independently created fan art inspired by existing characters and fictional worlds. Our originals, prints, and merchandise are not official merchandise. Hand-painted originals are one-of-a-kind physical artworks; prints and print-on-demand merchandise reproduce artwork and are not one-of-a-kind originals.

Are your artworks hand-painted?

Our original artworks are individually hand-painted using traditional media. Prints are reproductions of original artwork, and print-on-demand merchandise features reproductions of designs created by Keith Wahl. Prints and merchandise are not hand-painted originals. No digital art, AI art, or mass-produced prints are sold as originals.

Do you offer prints?

Some canvas panel artworks may have prints available. All prints are produced from high-quality scans of the original one-of-a-kind hand-painted piece. If a print is available, it will be clearly listed on the product page.

Will my artwork look exactly like the photos?

For an original artwork, the photos show the exact physical piece you will receive. Prints reproduce the original artwork but do not replicate its painted texture. Merchandise images may include mockups showing the design on the product. Colors can vary slightly between screens and the finished item. Check each product description for its material, size, and format.

How are original artworks shipped?

Originals ship directly from the studio in protective packaging designed for canvas panels. All orders include tracking.

Do you take custom commissions?

Commission availability varies. When commissions are open, customers must submit their request through the Commission Request Form, which is the required method for starting a commission. A full Commission Agreement is also available for review, outlining terms, timelines, and expectations. Both links are provided on the Commissions page.

Can I request a specific character or mashup?

You may submit character or mashup requests through the Commission Application form. While not all requests can be accepted, they help guide future artwork themes.

Do you restock sold-out originals?

No. All original artworks are one-of-a-kind and will not be recreated. Prints may be available for select pieces.

Optimus Prime – Transformers – 8" x 10" Original Canvas Panel Fan Art – Be Strong Enough to Be Gentle 🤖

He wasn't just a character. He was the voice that told an entire generation what a hero sounds like — steady, certain, and kind even when the weight of everything was on his shoulders. This piece is a tribute to Peter Cullen and the Optimus Prime he gave us: rendered in acrylic marker on an 8" x 10" canvas, painted with the same care and reverence the man himself brought to every single performance.

For every kid who heard that voice and stood a little straighter. For every parent who got choked up at a convention. This one's for him. This one found its home.

Darkness – Legend – 12" x 16" Original Canvas Panel Fan Art – The Lord of Darkness Awaits 🔥🖤

Before CGI ruled every screen, a man sat in a makeup chair for ten hours and became a nightmare. Blood-red skin. Three-foot horns. Eyes that never belonged in this world. Tim Curry didn't just play Darkness — he became him.

This one's for everyone who watched Legend and never forgot what true menace looked like. This one found its home.
